Exports from the southern terminals totalled 99,504,916 barrels, with 1,526,759 barrels exported from Kirkuk. Iraq's Ministry of Oil has announced preliminary oil exports for March of 101,031,675 barrels, giving an average for the month of 3.259 million barrels per day (bpd), slightly less than the 3.271 bpd exported in February. Revenues for the month were $4,744,726,000, at an average price of $46.963 per barrel.

The ministry of oil declared for the extinguishing of the well No.81 in Qayara oil field. It is worthy to say that Qayara oil field contains (50) oil wells. (34) Of them were sabotaged and (18) of the sabotaged wells were burnt. The spokesman of the ministry Mr. Assim Jihad said that the technical and engineering staff of the north oil company (NOC) and the supporting teams from the oil companies, the civil defense and the military effort was able to extinguish the well in Ninawa governorate. He said also that Mr. Jabbar Ali Hussein Al-Luiebi the minister of oil praised the national efforts of the workers from the technical & engineering teams which are related to the oil companies, in addition to the supporting authorities for their efforts to control over the oil wells fire which is a complicated process.
Which added new generating source to add (100) megawatts to the national unit capacity. And supplied the Haritha station, the Haritha investment station, the Khor and the Rumaila station, in addition to other stations with the gas fuel. Mr. Jabbar Ali Hussein Al-Luiebi the minister of oil sent a telegram to his Excellency Dr. Hayder Al- Abadi the Iraqi prime minister to inform him about the accomplishment of the new unit in Kirkuk refinery. Mr. Al-Luiebi said also: "the ministry of oil is working to adda new refining unit to Kirkuk refinery with a capacity of (10) thousand barrels / day before the end of this year". He said also that the ministry of oil have accomplished earlier "in a record time" the supply of Shatt Al- Arab power station with the gas fuel and started the trial run operation of the station.
