collected by :Jack Luxor The ministry of oil declared for the extinguishing of the well No.81 in Qayara oil field. It is worthy to say that Qayara oil field contains (50) oil wells. (34) Of them were sabotaged and (18) of the sabotaged wells were burnt. The spokesman of the ministry Mr. Assim Jihad said that the technical and engineering staff of the north oil company (NOC) and the supporting teams from the oil companies, the civil defense and the military effort was able to extinguish the well in Ninawa governorate. He said also that Mr. Jabbar Ali Hussein Al-Luiebi the minister of oil praised the national efforts of the workers from the technical & engineering teams which are related to the oil companies, in addition to the supporting authorities for their efforts to control over the oil wells fire which is a complicated process.

Mr. Falah Al-Ameri the director general of SOMO signed the contract with Mr. Tim bullock the director general of Litasco. Mr. Al-Ameri confirmed that the aim behind the contract is to transform the company to a commercial company contributes in selling the Iraqi oil. The contract also guarantees training and develop the staff of the company according to the demands of the next period. Mr. Al-Luiebi said that the signature of the contract between the two companies will achieve financial benefits for the two parties "especially in the sector of the commercial dealings & oil marketing".

The execution is according to the methods of BOT or BOO according to the investment law of the refineries No.64 for the year 2007 and its amendments.
